In other words, those patients who are at the death stage and need health care in there final days are kept in hospice. The care for such people can also be done in homes but where there are no dependents to look after the patient then in that case either hospice nurse are appointed in house or they are simply kept in the in built hospice in hospitals or some other place. The hospice jobs are to look after the patients and help them provide comfort and relieve from pain and symptoms of the illness. Treatment usually involves the sedation for pain and anxiety. The hospice jobs can also be termed as the social service being provided to these patients till there death. Physical, emotional and spiritual support is provided to these patients by a team that comprises of the nurses, therapists and many others whose primary role is hospice job.
Each member is liable and responsible for the patients care on regular basis and this totally depends on the supporting staff and understanding between the team members and availability of medication and instruments in some cases.
